Pitch form and email
When you send a pitch, we process your name, email, the name of your company or project, its stage, your description of the idea and any link to a pitch deck. We only open the link to review your pitch. The same applies to information you send us by email. The purpose is to review your pitch and reply to you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in assessing investment opportunities and answering enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), or Art. 6(1)(b) where a possible agreement is concerned. Your pitch is sent to our mailbox and deleted when no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Please do not send trade secrets or other confidential information through the form. We can cover such details later.
Preventing misuse
To stop spam, we store a hashed (anonymised) value of your IP address when you submit the form. It is deleted automatically after one hour.
Cookies
We use no analytics, tracking or marketing cookies. The front page sets one strictly necessary cookie (kh_sess) that secures the pitch form. It is deleted when you close your browser.
Data processor: Proisp
Our website and email are hosted by PRO ISP (GROUP.ONE NORWAY AS, org. no. 984 106 211, Tønsberg, Norway). Proisp is our data processor for web hosting and email under a data processing agreement. The web host logs technical data such as IP address, time and browser for operations and security. According to Proisp, data is stored on servers in Norway and/or the EU. Any processing outside the EEA only takes place with a valid transfer mechanism. We do not share your data with anyone else and never sell it.
Fonts and links
Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so nothing is loaded from Google or other third parties. Links to OpenStreetMap and the Brønnøysund Register Centre are subject to those websites’ own terms.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and data portability, and you may object to processing. Write to post@kastnes.no and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
